Exciting change for Spier Secret Festival
The fourth annual Spier Secret Festival – a food and wine event focusing on ethical production, sustainable practices and trends – returns to Spier wine farm on 30 and 31 October 2015. This year’s festival will take place around the recently restored historical Spier Werf, where a whole new Spier experience is unfolding.
The festival launches a planned bakery and café run by one of South Africa’s top chefs, a farmer’s market and a boutique wine cellar. Spier Secret delegates will be the first to sample the brand new Spier Werf experience.
Taste and learn about Spier’s flagship wine range, 21 Gables, named after the historic Cape Dutch gables on the farm. This range focuses on Chenin Blanc and Pinotage, South Africa’s two heritage varietals.
